FUD
Your biggest obstacles to selling AI solutions to your customers are the classic IBM model: “Fear, Uncertainly, and Doubt.” FUD.
Your customers are reading and hearing how AI may come and take all our jobs. How it may take over everything. How it may cause extinction events. The Godfather of AI, Geoff Hinton, has contributed more to those fears than you can imagine.
But when you’re trying to sell AI solutions to your customer, those fanciful fears may be all you face. How do you overcome them? Do you start disclaiming all those stories? Do you try to present some facts you’ve found that disprove them?
