The true AI opportunity for MSPs reaches far beyond the simple tasks users can accomplish with their chatbot. Answering questions, producing and improving images, video, and sound, and helping users be more productive.

“They think that’s AI, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg,” says Carlo Tortora Brayda, GTIA’s new Vice President of Industry Standards and Director of the Managed Intelligence Alliance. GTIA management now wants the program referred to simplay as “the Alliance,” and I will gladly comply. For those of us old enough to remember Vietnam, the acronym MIA has deeper and more painful meaning.

A visit to the LinkedIn page for Carlo Tortora Brayda introduces us to his intentions, his attitude, and his commitment. Under the headline “Technology Statesman” it says “Bridging Technology, Governance, and human values for a better future.” Alongside his profile picture is added, “Advancing trusted AI cyber resilience and intelligent decision making for the benefit of humanity.”

You won’t be surprised that GTIA met Brayda thanks to its participation in the United Nations AI for Good initiative.

Reading these messages told me instantly that I was going to like this guy. He gets that AI is here for the benefit of us humans!
