As if the stars were aligning the Big Three Frontier Model-Makers all introduced brand new large language models (LLM) in the week preceding this issue. Anomaly? Strategy? Dumb luck? Your guess is as good as mine.
It’s just as odd for MSP AI News to include three articles about the same topic, but that’s what we’ve just done with the first three articles in today’s issue to provide you with multiple perspectives on this important story.
Major Advance or Incremental Improvement
In the Hype-A-Thon that is AI its easy to assume all three announcements represent major advances in AI science, competing aggressively for pole position in the supposed race to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), the current LLM Holy Grail.
Not so much.
